The number of interventions for road and environmental safety is growing: four new smart systems for the detection of vehicular traffic are active
Metropolitan City of Milan continues to carry out the interventions dedicated to the safety and control of the road network of its competence planned by the “ Milan Metropolitan Safety Project “, the multi-year plan of actions developed together with Safety21 and Municipia.
As foreseen in the intervention plan, in January four new smart systems for the detection of vehicular traffic have already been installed, which will provide data and useful information for the analysis and trend of the vehicular flow, for a planning of interventions aimed at improving and making road traffic safer, with a consequent improvement in air quality.
The devices are active on the S.P. 103 “Cassanese”, in the territories of the municipalities of Cassina de Pecchi and Melzo, on the S.P. 13 Monza-Melzo in the municipality of Gorgonzola, and on the S.P. 121 Pobbiano-Cavenago in the municipality of Cernusco sul Naviglio.
These systems are part of the integrated monitoring and control network of the main arteries of the territory of the Metropolitan City of Milan and are divided as follows:
● 1 Traffic detector S.P. 103 Nuova Cassanese at Km 11+354: halfway between Albini & Pitigliani Spa and Cascina Colombina
● 1 Traffic detector S.P. 103 Nuova Cassanese at Km 11+445: halfway between Cascina Colombina and Albini & Pitigliani Spa
